Choosing a great lender is just as important as choosing a great Realtor. In order for the transaction to run as smoothly as possible, it's imperative to work with a lender who exhibits great communication skills and is willing to keep you and your Realtor up to date as to the status of your loan. Keep in mind that even if you have been pre approved by a lender, you are under no obligation to work with that lender. Talk to multiple lenders and make sure they're on the ball from the get go.
